HTC rushing onto the Polish market
Posted August 29th, 2007 in Business news by Ela Pawełek-LuberaHTC, a telecom hardware manufacturer from Taiwan, has set October as the most likely date for launching its products on the Polish market. The company has already signed a contract with AB and TechData Polska, which will enable HTC to serve several thousand clients of both these IT distributors.
The company intends to strengthen its brand through direct sales. HTC has already sold 20,000 mobile phones on the Polish market in cooperation with PTC and PTK Centertel. Until now, however, these operators have sold HTC’s products under their own private labels (MDA and SPV). This situation is now expected to change. Poland will be the second East European country where HTC has officially commenced operations, following its earlier debut in the Czech Republic.
