KGHM Copper Signs USD 400 m Contract in China

Copper giant KGHM signed a contract for copper sales in 2010 of an estimated value of USD 400 mln with China Minmetals Nonferrous Metals and will negotiate supplies for the next five years, the company said in a press statement.

“[We] will talk about supplies for the next five years and negotiate details of the framework agreement with our partners,” CEO Herbert Wirth said, quoted in the statement.
