Leoni AG to transfer production to Poland

DAX mid-cap cable producer Leoni AG will transfer production from Hungary to Poland in August 2008, Hungarian daily Nepszabadsag revealed, citing local Leoni authorities.

Leoni produces and distributes cables for the telecom, automotive,electronic and household appliances industries.

It operates in Europe, Asia, the US and has clients in over 30 countries.

It employs 34,000 people.
