Polish Banks to Focus on Services for SME This Year

Banks are going to concentrate on services for small and medium companies in 2010, the daily Dziennik Gazeta Prawna writes, based on information from banking sector officials.

Having developed its offer for retail clients, banks are now aiming at SME, which are expected to generate profits as the economy recovers from the crisis.

Loans for SME are expected grow to 38% of the total corporate loans in 2010 and to 40% in 2013, the daily writes, citing analysis by market economy researcher IBnGR.
