UPM Raflatac factory near Wroclaw

The new production facility will be located nearby factories operated by the South Korean LG and its partner firms. The project will involve building production halls together with social-office facilities providing total space of 20,000 m². The construction work is due to get underway in Q3 2007 and the assembly lines should be operable by the final quarter of 2008. According to the investor, the production-logistics centre will service developing Eastern European markets.
UPM Raflatac is a part of UPM, one of the world’s leading timber products companies. The concern is a supplier of pressure sensitive labelstocks and manufacturer of radio frequency identification tags and inlays. It operates factories and sales offices on five continents and boasts a total workforce of 2,500 people.
