Wroclaw – the place I love
Posted June 8th, 2009 in Outsourcing IT by Wojtek GurgulI really love Wroclaw. And I’m really proud of the fact that I was born here, grew up, live and work. What makes me loving the place, the atmosphere and the people, is that when you live and work here you feel that this place has its own life. That it develops, gets new look, attracts new investors, has plenty to offer for its citizens and guests. You have a feeling that it’s governed in the right way.
I do remember how ugly this place was 20 years ago. And now it’s in many places just beautiful.
Look here:
Last week the new (really big) fountain has been opened next to the nicest park in Wroclaw. There were more then 20 000 people each day coming 4 evenings in raw to see the performance. It’s a 25 minutes music + colors + lasers + lots of water performance which everybody must like. I took my kids and they liked it too.
Here is the picture taken by one of many PGS photography fans – Rafal Olkis. To see his video go to: www.banki-zdjec.pl
So the next time you are coming to Wroclaw – make sure you don’t drink too much beer in one of the Market Square restaurants to go and see the fountain at night. It will be open during the day as well, but I’m sure going there at night is a much better idea.
