Volkswagen invests in Poznań

Volkswagen Poznań Sp. z o.o. will begin a new investment project in Poznań. The company declares that the outlays will exceed 9,5 million EUR and will create at least 20 work places.

The project consists in the extension of the factory located in the area of the Poznań Subzone of the Kostrzyń-Słubice Special Economic Zone. The introduced change aims to increase the amount of the car produced per day from 650 to 700.

The site of the planned venture is fully equipped with all utilities and the additional essential technological installations will be purchased and installed by the company from its own funds.

Volkswagen Poznań Sp. z o.o. is a company with German capital, it has been present in Poznań since 1993. The company mainly produces in Poznań the models: VW Caddy and Transporter. The employment in Poland amounts to nearly 7000 people.
