Business Benefits
Having built the new application with DevOps, where development teams are also responsible for the operations of the project and its full life cycle, AAM saw a range of business and operational advantages. The benefits of this new system include:
- Automation to accelerate processes while eliminating risk,
- Scalability to meet growing KDM processing demands and support future system expansion,
- Performance from the AWS Cloud, microservices, and containers, ensuring the highest possible availability,
- Zero downtime deployment as updates can be made at any moment, without affecting availability or the user experience,
- Continuous updates, insuring end users have access to the newest app versions much more quickly,

Business Need
Always looking for innovative ways to keep their customers happy, AAM wasn’t satisfied with the user experience and cost-efficiency of how they were enabling clients to process key delivery messages (KDMs).
As such, they were looking for a way to automate this solution, which would eliminate the previous need for manual processing of KDMs via email. To enable this, they created a Cloud-based microservices infrastructure using Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD), which is able to handle these processing tasks on its own.
