We’re very excited to be heading to one of the world’s biggest tech conferences, where we’ll be joining over 40,000 attendees & 400 Sponsors at Amazon Web Services’ cloud computing expo in Las Vegas, USA.
Having become an Amazon Partner Network (APN) Consulting Partner this year, we decided to take advantage of our freshly certified status and bought ourselves a few passes to AWS re:Invent 2017, where we’ll be a first time Exhibitor.
You’ll find us at Booth K38 at The Expo in the Venetian, where we’ll be representing PGS Software as a “one stop Transformation station”.
If you’re interested in Application Modernisation, Application Migration, Serverless, and Containers stop by for a chat – we’ll happily share our knowledge and expertise.
AWS re:Invent – The Best Way to Learn
Attending AWS re:Invent is a great way to learn a ton while having fun! And we’re planning to take advantage of all that it has to offer – that’s why we signed up for as many sessions, bootcamps, hackathons, etc., as our calendars allowed.
We’ll also be there to talk about all things cloud – and to give away some awesome merchandise! 🙂
Check out the throwback Vegas-themed swag we’ll be handing out this year!
We created a custom fanny pack whose design was inspired by Las Vegas slot machines and printed in fluorescent paint – making it really shine under the lights. The fanny pack also has a “chip” on top that looks very much like the original casino ones.
We also designed old-school 3D laptop stickers, whose illustrations change as you sway them forward and backward. Their imagery has been jam-packed with Sin City icons such as neon cowboy “Vegas Vic”, the famous “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign, and the Golden Nugget.
We’ve been told time and time again that Vegas air is dry inside and out – that’s why we’ll be handing out moisturizing lip balm, especially dedicated to all those DevOps Evangelists as its second purpose is to spread the message that “DevOps is on everyone’s lips.” 🙂
For more on what you might need while in Vegas, check out our awesome AWS re:Invent Travel Guide, which has been picked up by such sites as re:Invent Parties.
Our AWS confirmed core competency is designing and implementing Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions and our Developers and Solutions Architects have been working with the AWS Cloud for over six years now. One of our team members will even be taking an AWS Certification Exam while at AWS re:Invent! (Best of luck, Luke!)
Visit us at Booth K38 at The Expo in the Venetian for a chat about the cloud and to pick up your Vegas-themed swag!
See you soon! 🙂
