PGS Software Becomes a Member of the British-Polish Chamber of Commerce

Grudzień 11, 2013 Krzysztof Piskorski

While BPCC name might not ring a bell for some of our foreign clients, since its inception in 1993 this organization became one of the largest facilitators of economic relationships between Poland and United Kingdom. Founded shortly after the transformation of the Polish economy, it has been successfully supporting bilateral trade and investment for two decades.

Established in 1993, the BPCC almost immediately started promoting business opportunities in Poland to British entrepreneurs and opening the British market to Polish goods and services. Since then the organization has been holding multiple conferences, seminars, workshops, trade missions and business clinics, as well as monthly meetings. It also publishes a dedicated magazine.

What’s most important, is that PBCC is officially endorsed by both governments and it often engages with high-profile partners such as the chambers network in the UK, the CBI and IoD, Federation of Small Businesses, UKTI, British Embassy in Warsaw and Polish Embassy in London.

That’s why we’re very glad to announce, that this November PGS Software became a trusted and valued member of the BPCC network. We see this both as an official recognition of our excellent working relationship with many British partners, and as a great opportunity.

Why is this membership so important for PGS Software? The BPCC provides its members with a direct access to 400 companies and over 200 000 business contacts. If you have seen our recent annual summary, you already know that United Kingdom is one of the most important markets for PGS Software and software development outsourcing in general. This year, 18% of our projects came from UK alone, and many of them had a very high value. We hope to improve this score next year.

And here’s the official diploma we have received from BPCC:
